In recent weeks, Troy women’s tennis has had some success and part of it has come from Leena Metwally. A junior from Cairo, Egypt, Metwally stands at 5-1 in overall play and 3-0 in singles play. She has defeated opponents with an average set score of 5.7-2.4 so far in 2026. Metwally has vastly improved compared to the fall 2025 season.
