Troy soccer head coach Stuart Gore resigned from his position this past Thursday after three seasons with the Trojans. Gore finished his career with the Trojans with a total record of 16-28-8.   “I would like to thank Coach Gore for his commitment to our soccer program,” said Athletics Director Kyle George. “We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.”  During his three-year tenure at Troy, the Trojans were 2-21-7 in Sun Belt Conference play. The Troy soccer team played its final road match of the season this weekend, as it faced off against ULM in Louisiana on Sunday, where the Trojans fell 3-0 to the Warhawks.   Troy had five total shots with three shots being on goal. The Warhawks outshot the Trojans with 23 total attempts, with nine being on goal.   ULM scored twice in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into the locker room. The Warhawks scored again in the 86th minute to close out the match.   Defender Libby H

The Troy soccer team traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, where it fell 2-0 in a lost to Georgia State. The Trojans fell to 0-4-3 in conference play after losing to the Panthers, who are second in the Sun Belt East.  The Panthers struck early, knocking in two goals within the first 17 minutes of the match. Despite the loss, the Trojans back line held Georgia State to only 10 shots. It’s the fewest shots the Trojans have allowed in a conference match so far this season. ..
