After ending the 2024 season at 5-9-3 with only one Sun Belt win, Troy soccer looks to make a 180 this fall.

The Trojans are entering their third season under former national championship winning Head Coach Stuart Gore.

The Trojans ended their fall expeditions in disapointing fashion with a 4-1 loss against the Kennesaw State Owls. However, the Trojans will look to rebound and open the season with a win on the road against the Murray State Racers.

The Trojans return three of their top five scorers from last season with Hailey Phillips, Georgia Mulholland, and Danielle Trovato all staying in Troy.

On the defensive side of the pitch, Troy retains key defenders in Grace DeShetler, Brooke Slater, and Shyanne Scharbrough along with Nittany Vega in goal.

The Trojans will also welcome back Jiselle Daniels, who ranked third in the Sun Belt in shots taken.

The Trojans added Taylor Richards, Elsa Stedman, and Alaina Uncapher from the transfer portal.

Troy will stay on the road in its second match, heading to Mississippi to take on the Alcorn State Braves before a home opener against Southeastern Louisiana on Aug. 22 followed by another home appearance against Spring Hill two days later.

The Trojans will also rematch Jacksonville at home after drawing with the Dolphins on the road last season.

The Trojans away non-conference schedule also features matchups against North Alabama and Stetson.

The Trojans will open up Sun Belt Conference play in Jonesboro, Arkansas, in a rematch of last season's final game that saw the Trojans and the Red Wolves battle to a draw on Halloween night.

The Trojans will play Southern Miss, JMU, Georgia Southern, Louisiana and South Alabama at home. Troy’s away schedule features matchups against the aforementioned Red Wolves, Texas State, Old Dominion, Georgia State and ULM.
