Troy Soccer falls to Georgia State on the road
The Troy soccer team traveled to Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, where it fell 2-0 in a lost to Georgia State. The Trojans fell to 0-4-3 in conference play after losing to the Panthers, who are second in the Sun Belt East. The Panthers struck early, knocking in two goals within the first 17 minutes of the match. Despite the loss, the Trojans back line held Georgia State to only 10 shots. It’s the fewest shots the Trojans have allowed in a conference match so far this season. ..

Trojan Ambassadors: into the tour
Walking around campus, students may notice a group of potential Trojans on a university tour. These tours are led by students called Trojan Ambassadors. Trojan Ambassadors is an on-campus organization that specializes in recruitment for the university. They are called the university’s hosts and hostesses, and they specialize in serving the university through school spirit. Giving Day raises more than half a million dollars for Troy University

Volleyball falls in series to Georgia Southern
The Troy volleyball team fell to Georgia Southern in a two-match series inside Trojan Arena last weekend. The Trojans struggled to overcome 28 attack errors on Friday, which head coach Josh Lauer says was the biggest problem of the night. “We weren’t consistent enough to win tonight,” Lauer said. “It really cost us the match. “Seventeen unforced errors were really the difference. We had a lead there in the fourth to get us into the fifth and we just got too error prone.”
