TARP hold pet food drive to support pet owners during government shutdown
A Troy pet rescue center held a pet food drive last Tuesday to provide support for struggling animal owners during the financial uncertainty of the government shutdown. Troy Animal Rescue Project (TARP) is a 501(c) non-profit, no-kill animal shelter that has rehomed thousands of pets in need since their start in 2014. Lagoon construction enters its final stages

Pike Country Sheriff's Office holds Ladies Firearm Safety Class
The Pike County Sheriff's Office (PCSO) held a Ladies Firearm Safety Class on Saturday, Nov. 8, open to all women in an effort to promote firearm safety in the community. Campus laundry payment system to see chamges beginning in spring semester
Students who reside on campus are looking at a change to laundry for the upcoming semester. Residence hall laundry rooms will upgrade to digital payments starting Spring 2026. Troy football teamed up with The Lids Foundation and nonprofit Shoes That Fit to give students at Troy Elementary School brand new shoes and hats Monday morning.
