Asking not assuming: Will you be my Valentine?
Should you assume that someone is your valentine? Let me go ahead and answer that for you: NO! This is for the couples out there. Regardless of whether you've been together for two months or five years, you should still ask your partner to be your valentine. Why? Well, let's get right into it. Just like when you are married, you should still make designated time to go out on dates. There’s a difference between intentional quality time (dates) and random meet ups (hangouts)

This Week’s Advice: Healthy habits. Since being in college, so much has happened both mentally and socially. Coming to college can be such a culture shock. The 'bum delirious: The review of Don Toliver's OCTANE
Don Toliver is what some may call an acquired taste but consider me convinced. I’ve been a pseudo-fan of Toliver since the Covid era, when he first started getting popular with the release of “No Idea” and various other songs from the “Heaven or Hell” album. Toliver has been slowly growing in fame since his TikTok blastoff, releasing several albums since 2020. Some of his biggest hits include “NEW DROP,” “No Pole” and “After Party.” His most recent album, however, “OCTANE,

Anais' Annotations: "Misery" by Stephen King
During the recent January snow day, many people were concerned the road conditions would cause car accidents-- kind of like the one that sets off the events of Stephen King’s “Misery” (1987). When considering the possibility of road issues with the weather, most folks probably were not worried about being abducted from their vehicle and held hostage until they were forced to write an entire book. That is exactly the predicament that King’s main character, Paul Sheldon, fi

Whitechapel bathes my ears with good, good gravel
Usually, I’m not the biggest metal listener, especially not the type of metal Whitechapel is, but a friend of mine recommended this album to me, and I was interested enough to give it a spin. The album has a tendency of bathing my ears in gravelly guitar sound throughout, which is great. That’s not to say that it doesn’thave melodic parts, though. The melodic parts of the album shine through in the breakdowns of certain songs and meld with the gravelly sounding guitar reall
