Sound of the South marching band bound for London
The Sound of the South (SOTS) marching band has been invited to perform in the 2027 London New Year’s Day Parade as well as in the Festival Concert Series at some of the best venues London has to offer. Troy's plastic plant leads global impact
Since 1981, the world’s largest plastics recycling plant has been located in Troy, Alabama. Now, the results of KW Plastics’ recycling efforts are in households all around the world. Volleyball splits series with ULM
Troy volleyball split another two-match series last weekend on the road against the ULM Warhawks. The Trojans had a rough start in the first match on Thursday as they fell in four sets. Amiah Butler finished the match with 24 kills, hitting .354 and adding 15 digs to collect another double-double on the season. UAC Skate Night was a neon wonderland
Troy’s University Activities Council held a roller-skating night outside of Hawkins Hall on the side lot last Wednesday night. Although the night was chilly, students overlooked it for an enjoyable night of skating. UAC skate nights are normally held inside with black lights for the neon effect. Troy food pantry, community seeing changes amid government shutdown
With the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) having lost much of its funding during the current government shutdown, many families across the country are turning to food banks to help meet their needs. Head soccer coach Gore resigns after loss
Troy soccer head coach Stuart Gore resigned from his position this past Thursday after three seasons with the Trojans. Cross Country wraps up 2025 season
The Troy cross country teams wrapped up the 2025 season at the Sun Belt Conference Championship meet in Foley, Alabama, last Friday. Women's tennis finishes fall season with big wins
Over a two-day span, the Troy women’s tennis team competed with conference foes and Power Four opponents alike to claim victory at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic. Each day consisted of three rounds of both singles and doubles action. While there was success for the Trojans on both fronts, there were some hiccups.
