Troy’s track and field team traveled to Clemson, South Carolina last weekend to compete in the Orange & Purple Invitational following a successful showing at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational.   During the events, the Trojans continued to break many personal, season and program records.   Ethan Forbes, who broke the school record for the men’s indoor 800m event last week, took first place. This past week, the Troy track and field squads headed to Gainesville, Florida, to compete with some of the best at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational. The team broke three program records at the event.  The Trojans had a hard matchup upcoming, as they faced multiple Power Four teams such as Miami, Florida, UCF and Florida State.
