Troy Track and Field competed in the USATF Indoor Championships on Feb. 28 and March 1. The championships were held in Staten Island, New York, and had a variety of events for runners of all ages.  Travis Massey ran a 6.88 for the Men’s 60m event, landing him 21st place overall. Benjamin Jaudon ran a time of 8.07 for Men’s 60m Hurdles, earning 19th place during the event. The Trojans have dominated in track and field meets both records-wise and standings-wise throughout the season. Through the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships, this fact has continued to ring true.   During Monday and Tuesday, the Trojans have broken a number of personal records, broken a program record and achieved high standings throughout the meet’s women’s events. Troy continued to smash through records in Birmingham, Alabama, during the UAB invite last Saturday. The Trojans continued their streak of crushing records during their return to Clemson last weekend. All the way from down under, Ethan Forbes has already set his name in the record books at Troy in his first two weeks of competition with the Trojans.  In just over a week, Forbes set the school record in the indoor 800m… twice. At the Jimmy Carnes Invitational on Jan. 16, Forbes won the men’s 800m with a time of 1:52.96, beating the previous Troy record holder, Chance Armstrong, who ran a 1:53.66.   Just eight days later at the Clemson Orange and Purple Invitational on Jan.
