The Troy women's golf team went and saw some sunny skies and warm weather down in Miami, Florida, for the Pat Bradley Invitational held by Florida International. In the invitational, Troy played against a Sun Belt opponent, Florida schools and a Big Ten squad.

The star of the show this week was Mara Dajer, who hit an even-par round. She carded in 16 pars around a birdie, which was Troy’s best performance of the invitational. That performance landed her tied for 36th.

Right behind Dajer with an equally respectful performance is Roberta Alvarez, who shot 3-over off a couple birdies and an eagle on the par-5 course, landing her at tied for 46th.

Mathilda Ringblom birdied the first two holes to land at tied for 51st, Phenyo Sebata tied for 59th, Anna Roldan Sewald tied for 64th and Manya Saini tied for 67th.

Off of the back of those performances from the Trojans, Troy landed at tied for 10th overall, directly above Florida International, Middle Tennessee, Daytona State, Merrimack and The Citadel. Above the Trojans was Arkansas State, who placed first overall, with Michigan landing at fourth.

This tournament was the last competition for the Trojans’ fall season. After the trip to Miami, the Trojans are able to get some rest before coming out swinging in the Treasure Coast Invitational held by UNC Greensboro. That invitational will take place from Feb. 7 to Feb. 9, 2027, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

The spring season will also include competitions at the Hatter Invitational, Chris Banister Golf Classic, Magnolia Collegiate, City of Oaks Collegiate and UNC Challenge Cup.

Following the Treasure Coast Invitational, Troy will play in the Hatter Invitational on Monday, Feb. 22, to Tuesday, Feb. 23. The Trojans will then travel to Glencoe for the Chris Banister Golf Classic on Sunday, March 7, to Tuesday, March 9.

On Monday, March 15, to Tuesday, March16, Troy will compete in the Magnolia Collegiate, then travel to Raleigh, North Carolina, for the City of Oaks Collegiate. Lastly, the UNC Challenge Cup will take place on Sunday, April 4, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
