Softball falls to Bobcats at home
The Troy softball team played its last Sun Belt series against Texas State over the weekend before the Bobcats move to the Pac 12. The Trojans got swept with 11-7, 5-0 and 2-1 losses. However, Troy also tacked on a few more in the win column, with a midweek matchup against West Georgia that ended up with two Troy wins. Baseball takes road series against Texas State
Troy baseball secured its third conference series win of the season in a weekend matchup against the Texas State Bobcats. The Trojans lost 8-5 before storming back with 15-2 and 12-11 wins to clinch the series. The Trojans dropped the Friday opener after the Bobcats had an explosive sixth and ninth inning. Track breaks more records against Power Four foes
Troy’s track and field team returned to Florida State on Friday and Saturday to compete in the Dick Roberts Seminole Invite. The Trojans raced against mostly Floridia-based schools like FSU, Florida A&M University and the University of North Florida, with some unattached Auburn and USSU athletes competing as well. Men's golf competes against tough opponents in Miss.
After a rough first round, Troy men's golf found a second wind and jumped seven spots to finish sixth in the Mossy Oak Collegiate. The Trojans did not shoot well in round one, with no Trojans hitting under or at par. However, in round two, Troy's Thomas Crane, Lee Poppell and Pablo Gracia all shot under to launch Troy back up the scorecard. Football continues spring camp, preps for T-Day
Troy football is continuing its preparation for T-Day as the team is over halfway through spring training. “We have much to improve on, but our team has found itself an identity a little bit,” head coach Gerad Parker said. “The effort and physicality have taken a huge step.” Parker is preparing his team for his third season as the head football coach. Women's tennis continues hot streak

Men's tennis runs win streak to 12
The Troy men’s tennis team claimed its 12th straight win this past Thursday, defeating Alabama State 5–2. Starting off in doubles, Luciano Alcocer and Yeray Andrés Pastor rolled on court one with a 6–0 win. Grand slam highlights Darnell's strong week
As part of Troy’s 14-2 win over Alabama State on Mar. 31, Sean Darnell swatted a grand slam to deliver a fatal blow to the Hornets. “I’m sure this is what people will remember from the evening, Sean Darnell’s grand slam,” said head coach Skylar Meade. Men's golf earns second straight fourth place finish
Troy men’s golf finished fourth at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate, continuing its streak of solid finishes. Despite a good second round where they shot 6-under and sat in second heading into Tuesday, the Trojans shot 12-over in the final round and dropped to fourth as a team. Troy’s track and field team went to Tallahassee, Florida, on Thursday and Friday to compete in the Terry Long FSU Relays. The Trojans showed out during the meet, earning numerous top-three finishes and a few personal bests along the way. KIley Huffman earns SBC POTW honors
After going 10-for-14 last week, Kiley Huffman was named the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
