Troy Football hires new strength and conditioning director from SEC School
Troy football has announced the hire of Ben Sowders as the new director of strength and conditioning. Sowders comes to the role after a two-year stint at Arkansas in the same position. He coached a number of NFL players with the Razorbacks, including Buffalo Bills defensive end Landon Jackson, Detroit Lions wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa, and Jacksonville Jaguars kicker Cam Little working under Sowders. “Coach Sowders is going to be a big-time addition to our football program,

Football welcomes new, accomplished offensive coordinator
The Troy football team announced the hire of Adam Austin as its offensive coordinator to start the new year. Head coach Gerad Parker snagged Austin from Tarleton State, where he led the Texans’ FCS highest-scoring offense. Through the 2025 season, Tarleton State averaged 42.4 points and 457.6 yards per game. In Austin’s two seasons leading the offense, the Texans averaged 36.6 points per game. “We couldn’t be more excited to add Adam and Aubri to the Troy football family,”
