Coming off a WNIT Championship appearance, the Troy women’s basketball team looks to take the conference by storm and win the Sun Belt Conference title. Before that, the team has to play the non-conference schedule, which was announced last week.

To start non-conference play, the squad plays Toledo at home for the MAC – Sun Belt challenge on Nov. 3. The Trojans rematch Mississippi Valley State at home on Nov. 6.

Continuing the theme of familiar faces, Troy squares off against Chattanooga at home on Nov. 12. The Trojans bested the Mocs in the regular season last year before taking them down again in the WNIT.

After three straight home games, the Trojans will play two straight away games against Power Four schools. The first of these matchups is against Kansas State from the Big 12 on Nov. 18. Directly after that, the Trojans play Missouri from the SEC on Nov. 20.

Troy is no stranger to upsetting Power Four schools with wins over BYU, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Central Florida and Ole Miss on its ledger. The Trojans have held their own against Power Four schools, with the biggest example being the 2021 NCAA Tournament game against Texas A&M, which they only lost by four points.

After playing Kansas State and Missouri on the road, team comes back to Troy to play Montana State on Nov. 24. Quickly following the game against Montana State, the Trojans will travel to Las Vegas to play Texas Southern on Nov. 27 and Florida Gulf Coast on Nov. 29 for the Resorts World Women's Basketball Classic.

Troy continues the road trip by playing Longwood on Dec. 3 and returns home to play Oakwood on Dec. 10. They play a quick Sun Belt game before returning to non-conference to play Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Dec. 21.

After playing a good bit of the Sun Belt schedule, Troy will cap off the MAC-SBC challenge against a team to be announced. That game will be played on Feb. 7.

The Trojans will continue preparations for the 2025-26 season, which begins on Nov. 3 against the Rockets.
