Troy soccer welcomes anew goalkeeper coach

Keenan Ainge joins Troy Soccer’s coaching staff for the 2026 season as the new goalkeeper coach. Troy announced the new arrival on July 13.

"I'm incredibly excited to be part of this program and can't wait to get started," Ainge said. "I'd like to thank Coach Wyman for the opportunity to join his staff.

“I'm looking forward to helping build a successful future for Troy soccer."

Ainge is a Cambridge, England, native who started collegiate soccer in 2020 at Florida Memorial University. He would play one season there and then transfer to the University of Jamestown in North Dakota, where he would finish his season and become a graduate assistant.

In Jamestown, his coaching helped develop multiple athletes, including talent that went to Argentina and The United Soccer League Two. He also helped one goalkeeper take home a Continental Athletic Conference Tournament MVP Award.

His time as a coach with the Jimmies came to an end in 2024, where he then continued his coaching at Spring Hill College. While with the Badgers, he helped them to a 7-4-7 season, with his keepers having 12 clean sheets and only 0.72 goals per game in 2025. He also helped Carlotta Stark surpass the program record for most career saves with 286 saves.

Ainge has now been working with the Trojans for the upcoming season, which will begin on Thursday with an away game against Middle Tennessee State.
