Last week, the Tropolitan highlighted three of the six graduating seniors in the ROTC program. This week the three remaining seniors, Kayla Knight, Logan Davenport and Victoria Zlotea will be recognized.
These seniors all have their assignments post graduation and have shared them with the Tropolitan. These cadets are stationed at different bases all across the country.
“One of the advantages of Troy Air Force ROTC is that it is a small detachment, and we, as cadre, get to know every cadet very well,” said Lieutenant Colonel Kedem Alon. “We get to know their strengths and weaknesses. We get to see their highs and lows during their journey.
“All of the cadre here at Troy Air Force ROTC are proud of the graduates, and we are also confident we are sending the right leaders to the Air Force.”
Cadet Kayla Knight will be commissioned as a Logistics and Readiness officer at Pope Airfield in Cumberland County, North Carolina. Her favorite memory is hand-to-hand combat training with the United States Air Force Academy.
“I got to meet cadets from all over the country, and the experience really challenged me, both mentally and physically,” Knight said. “I want to thank my team for helping make Detachment 017 what it is and for pushing me to grow as a leader.
“You’ve all shaped me into who I am today and continue to inspire who I want to become.
I also want to thank TSgt Teller for his constant patience and support, even when I couldn’t seem to fill out a form right to save my life.”
Cadet Logan Davenport will be training as an Air Battle Manager at Tyndall Air Force Base in Panama City, Florida. His favorite memory is bonding with his Cadre after Leadership Lab, going to Trojan Center, and catching up with one another.
“Taking part in ROTC activities in class with them made us bond more as a whole and made us into this small little group of family that we are today,” Davenport said. “I would say I feel sad about leaving the group as we part our separate ways, however, knowing that our future is already set in motion, I can't help but feel excited for each one of us.
“I have to shout out the Cadre, past and present, who have made the entire experience of ROTC worth it.Seeing our Cadre come from different backgrounds but somehow, they all settled in on little Troy, Alabama, just so they can teach us and help us learn to lead is one of the biggest motivators to me.”
Cadet Victoria Zlotea will be commissioned as an intelligence officer and will attend training at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Her favorite memory is the free-fall skydiving program at the U.S. Air Force Academy, where she was able to jump solo.
“Joining AFROTC has been one of the best decisions I have made as a student at Troy University,” Zlotea said. “It has given me a chance to develop myself as a leader and find a career path that I am honored to work in while serving my country.
“My Cadre has mentored and challenged me to learn what my strengths and weaknesses are, so that I can use that knowledge to better myself.”
The Tropolitan wishes these cadets luck in all their future endeavors!
Their leadership and determination are truly commendable. One aspect that can really help these graduates, especially in their professional journeys, is the power of brand awareness for seo. By focusing on building a strong online presence, they can make their mark in their respective fields. It’s an essential strategy to ensure they stand out and build a reputation that reflects their hard work and dedication.
