Troy Athletics and Troy Bank and Trust announced a historic branding deal on Monday.
“We are the first program that can say that we have an all-sports jersey patch that also includes every single one of our coaches wearing the Troy Bank and Trust logo,” said Troy Athletic Director Kyle George.
Jeff Kervin, Troy Bank and Trust CEO, said Troy meets the qualifications for an organization that Troy Bank and Trust looks to support.
“We have always tried to associate ourselves with high-quality organizations that possess a lot of integrity… and certainly Troy University meets those standards,” Kervin said.
Many schools have patch deals on their sports uniforms, but Troy is unique in having the deal across all programs at the institution. Troy is also the first in the state of Alabama to have the jersey patch sponsor for all sports.
The NCAA announced on Jan. 23, 2026, that it would allow schools to have two commercial jersey patches on uniforms for the coming season. This rule has been in effect since the first of August.
Kervin said the negotiations took about two months, but they were honored to be the first partner Troy approached for the patch. He said they knew as soon as Troy’s administration came to them, that it was something that they wanted to do.
Both Kervin and George spoke to the power of relationships, especially long-lasting ones. Troy Athletics and Troy Bank and Trust model this through a partnership that has endured for almost 120 years and remains stronger than ever.
Troy is capitalizing on a successful year across athletics as a whole in the 2025-2026 school year. Troy saw the baseball team make it further than ever with its breakthrough on the national stage at Omaha, the football team played for the conference championship for the third time in four years, men’s basketball won the second conference championship in a row and appeared inMarch Madness, as well as the women’s basketball team making its first appearance in the WBIT.
With so much national attention on Troy Athletics, officials say it is a great time for a sponsor to gain recognition by being associated with the jersey of every Troy sports team. This deal gives Troy Athletics $2.1 million over four years, with an option for a fifth year.
