Idaho football makes its home in Moscow, Idaho, and like the Syracuse football team. the Vandals have a dome overlooking their field.

Kibbie Dome is Idaho’s 93,550 square foot facility that has been the Vandals’ home for football since 1975.

Idaho was in the Sun Belt from 2001-2004 before it left the conference for the Western Athletic Conference, or WAC, in 2005.

Idaho has played Troy only once back in 2004, and the Trojans blew the Vandals away 47-7 on Trojan turf.

The Vandals currently have six players in the NFL including 2010 first round draft pick Mike Iupati, who plays guard for the Washington Redskins.

Last season Idaho went (1-10), its only win against New Mexico State 26-18, partly due to a rigorous schedule that included LSU, North Carolina and BYU.

Of all the four teams set to join the Sun Belt in 2014, Idaho might have the toughest 2013 schedule with matchups against Northern Illinois, Ole Miss and Florida State.

The challenge for the Vandals is to win more than one game this coming season against the stiff competition.
