Homecoming winners announced

The Homecoming Queen and event winners were announced at the football game on Saturday, Oct. 15.

 

Destiny Oliver, a senior global business marketing major from Dothan nominated by Phi Mu, was crowned as the 2016 Homecoming Queen.

 

The overall categories represented the winners for the entire week’s contests, which included a banner contest, a float contest, a skit contest and a dance contest. The divisions for the events included male, female and co-ed.

 

Farmhouse is the first place winner for overall male category, followed by Alpha Tau Omega in second place and Sigma Chi in third. Kappa Delta won first place in the overall female category, followed by Chi Omega and Phi Mu.

 

The Wesley Campus Ministry won the overall co-ed category, while Baptist Campus Ministries and Palladium won second and third places respectively.

 

Delta Kappa Epsilon won the banner contest in the male category, Kappa Delta in the female category and the BCM in the co-ed category.

 

Sigma Chi and Phi Mu won the float contest, while Alpha Tau Omega, BCM and Kappa Delta won the skit contest for the male, co-ed, and female categories respectively.

 

Farmhouse won the men’s dance contest and Kappa Delta won the women’s dance contest.
