Emma's Enlightenments
As people, we have the ability to control the way we go about life.
We have our own mindsets, which we can then act on. We have our own way of thinking, moving and being.
Whether or not we carry ourselves positively or negatively is up to us.
We control the way we carry ourselves, as I have said before, and see life.
Why live through hate when you can live through love?
I felt this was a good topic for this week because it can relate to so many things going on, both personally and socially.
On a personal level, in our personal lives, we should always take that step to lead with love.
If we have a front, where we show and provide love, that adds all the more positivity to the world, and with ourselves.
By showing love, we are so much happier as people. We feel good, and do good.
Showing love could be the difference in us skipping or dragging our feet.
If we love ourselves, and others, there is a sort of light that radiates. It shines through us.
Moreover, socially, as a society we always should lead with love.
So many people are focused on hate and negativity. Which is why so many social problems would be better if we just led with love.
Hate has divided us so far apart, and love can bring us back together.
This can be used this week in lots of ways. Personally, by leading yourself with love, so much stress and sadness will feel better.
Don’t be scared to talk to that person in class. Don’t worry about what that specific person thinks about you.
Socially, holding love close to your heart provides a sense of comfort. We as a society won’t feel so separated, but, instead, together.
I have talked about love in this column so much. This is because it is so important.
If we are overcome with love, we can’t be reached by hate.
Hate is so easy to fall into. It has a way of manipulating us to think it’s easier than love.
It’s not.
Hate takes so much more strength than just throwing your arms down, an accepting love for yourself and others.
Choose to smile. Choose to greet. Choose to be there.
It makes the difference that is needed.
