Students had the opportunity to take a moment out of their busy schedules to set goals for the remainder of the semester and year.

Troy University Activities Council (UAC) arranged a DIY Vision Board Night where students filled out their goals for 2025 in the format of a bingo board.

“We added goals like doing daily workouts, day trips, saving money, and I really want to get to run on the team for cross country or track,” said Jahlae Sapp, a freshman computer science major from Bainbridge, Georgia. “Setting goals helps people.

“When you use your short-term goals to build your long-term goals, it really serves as a motivational booster.”

Throughout the night, raffle winners were announced as students were decorating their boards. The winners could choose which Troy apparel they preferred to take as a prize.

“We saw the post on Instagram and thought that it would be a fun idea to just get out of our apartment and just spend time together, and it’s been really fun,” said Haley Rucker, one of the four raffle winners and a junior criminal justice major from Wetumpka, Alabama. “I’ve been wanting to stay on top of my grades this semester and try to get on the dean’s list since that’s a big thing of mine.

“Also, I want to try and learn how to swim.”

As students meet their goals overtime, they can check off the spots to get a “bingo” or fill the whole board.

“It’s important to have something to wake up to at least try and grab for everyday and to not just live without purpose,” said UAC Secretary Jamie Parker, a sophomore nursing major from Millbrook, Alabama. “I feel like everyone should have their reasons for their own goals as long as they wake up with a purpose.”

A few other goals that were set included staying consistent, losing weight and taking solo trips.

“I think it’s important to set goals for yourself because it gives you something to look forward to,” Rucker said. “If you're just stuck on this day-to-day life and have nothing to look forward to, then that’s just what you’re going to be stuck with.

“Setting goals also gives you a sort of happiness when you accomplish that goal.”

UAC’s upcoming events include movie night, a “Wicked” singalong, casino night and bubble soccer.

To join the organization and work behind the scenes on the fun, students can attend UAC meetings every Monday night at 5 p.m. in room 119 in the Trojan Center.

I never really thought about online casino games this deeply before, but reading this made me realize how much they’ve changed. I always imagined simple spinning reels, yet the idea of stories, quests, and paths like rabbit road sounds more like an adventure game than classic gambling. I like the thought of exploring a game world and unlocking surprises along the way, and even browsing https://foxslotslogin.com/ feels like part of that experience. For me it’s exciting to see how games keep evolving and becoming more interactive and fun for players everywhere today.
