Senior Farewells : TJ Dennis

There are not enough words to truly encapsulate how I feel when I think about Troy University. This place has done more for me in four years than I could’ve ever imagined. I cannot put into words the journey my time here has been.
First, I’d like to thank the highest for blessing me with the tools to be in this situation. Also, for carrying me through every trial and tribulation along the way.
I’d also like to thank my support system – My mom, dad, sister, girlfriend, etc. Thank you for the countless sacrifices, hours, talks and other contributions to my journey. Without them, I truly do not know where I’d be.
My next thank you is to Troy University. Thank you for allowing me to endure the trials and tribulations and find myself along the way. Thank you for the relationships along the way as well.
To TrojanVision, thank you for everything -- the ups and downs, relationships and every stop in between. Thank you for unlocking parts of me that were lost, thank you for believing in me and most of all, thank you for taking a chance on me. The time I spent in the studio will never be forgotten as it helped make me who I am today.
To the Trop, thank you for everything as well. Thank you for accepting the “TV Kid” into the family. You guys allowed me to be myself and expand on my love for sports.
Finally, my professors – you guys deserve the world. Special shoutout to Dr. Taylor, Dr. East, Dr. Tabb and last, but certainly not least, Professor Cooper. Each of you played a part in molding my college journey. Being able to learn from each of you was truly a pleasure, and I would not trade it for the world.
As the marathon continues, I’d like to thank everyone who has been there for me throughout my journey – none of your contributions will be forgotten. With my graduation date set for July, I’m delighted to wrap this up by passing the news that I will spend the summer interning with Troy Athletics with the next step being graduate school.
