Senior Farewell - Katelyn Smith: Staff Writer

I’m so grateful to have gotten involved with the Tropolitan. It has made me a more confident person and a better writer through continuous practice. By covering stories, I was sharpening a bunch of skills without even realizing it. Interviewing sources was my favorite part of being a writer. I loved speaking with people to hear their stories and learning about a variety of different things. The Trop allowed me to stay connected with the Troy University community and strengthened my relationship with some of my friends. I’ll always look back fondly on the Cook-Out runs and giggles shared with the staff.
