Minions are the best animated characters

Bello! That’s the typical Minion greeting. These characters were first introduced fourteen 14 years ago, in 2010, through the movie “‘Despicable Me.”’.

French character designer, Eric Guillon, created and designed these yellow bodied and blue overalls wearing creatures that I’ve grown to adore overtime.

These characters have appeared in five movies and are about to make another appearance this summer in “‘Despicable Me 4.”’

While Minions are not the average fictional animated characters that people would typically come across on screens, they never have a dull moment when they do make that appearance.

Whether it's through a photo, meme or video, Minions can be trusted to bring the crazy and interesting side. through every aspect.

That’s one of the main concepts that makes these characters the most unique fromof any other animated characters. Yet, they are so underratedestimated.

While they may not be your ideal superheroes or royal figures, they have alwaysdefinitely displayed the characteristics that make them stand out. from the others.

Minions are always saving and protecting Gru’s family as well as each other from unusual situations in their own way.

And while these guys fight more often than the average siblings do, they still work together to finish a challenging assignment no matter how long, tiring and emotional it gets.

Yes, Minions have feelings too.

Then after the hard work is done, they celebrate together. Despite whatever quarrel they had earlier or conflicts within the group, Minions never give up on each other nor leave anyone behind.

It seems that Minions could teach society something after all.

Now, obviously their language is at the fore-frontforefront of these differences. That is what adds the extra spark to them!

When Minions speak, their conversations feature six languages: English, Spanish, French, Korean, Italian and Danish. These languages combine to one specific language that is only used by these guys.

This fictional language is called Minionese! The directors and creative team created this language for comedic purposes, but to also to keep viewers on their toes when it came to wondering what the Minions were saying.

Yet, the facial expressions and actions that follow their words pretty much gives a hint at what was said. There is actually is a whole manual on connecting their spoken words and defining some of their phrases, but that’s for another article.

Lastly, these guys have a personality of their own. While they may look the same, they each have a special trait that stands out from the others in the group.

For instance, Bob is the short and chubby one who loves his brown teddy bear. Did you know that his left eye is brown while the other is green? He’s the only Minion with this feature.

What about the one eyedone-eyed Minion? Now, there are a few of those in the group, but the most common one is Stuart who is the laid-back one but likes to have fun from time to time.

Then there’s the tall one who is usually in control, Kevin. One last example is Otto, the newly introduced Minion who has braces and owns a pet rock.

While it is a tie between Bob and Otto as my all-time favorite, every single Minion makes me laugh whenever I need something to brighten my day. I know that they do the same for someone else.

Not every character has their own language nor their own group that they can depend on. It reminds me of the commonly referenced phrase “don’t mix family with business.”

Well, these guys sure do, and they will always find a way to incorporate fun in their business. Now, that is what makes Minions the most unique animated character.
