College of Education celebrates Seuss

Brooke Annelise Brock (left), a senior collaborative elementary education (special education) major from Ozark, and Lisa Ann Saunders (right), a senior elementary education major from Dozier, dress as well-known characters from a Dr. Seuss story last Thursday. These students “Seuss-ed” the faculty by decorating doors in the department to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday and Read Across America. Theodor Seuss Geisel, the birthname of the well-known children’s book author and illustrator Dr. Seuss, was born on March 4, 1904. This last Tuesday marked Seuss’ 110th birthday.
